I've noticed people not joining or even those in LIGS not signing into the Mumble server. I believe the issue is that the established community are flat out refusing to branch out. I went into the World of Tanks channel and asked multiple people if they would want to join new games, like Armored Warfare. The repeated phrase? "I don't want to start out from scratch and do new things" If you refuse to join new things and branch out, then the clan is dead. Get off your high horse, know that there's other games and you WILL be starting from scratch, just like you had been in the past, play the game, advertise and recruit. If you refuse, I don't see why you are a part of a clan, pack up and go home, you're not a team player and that's not what LIGS stands for. If I overstep my bounds, so be it, I'm just reporting what I noticed.
Maybe we should have our members recruiting more or leaving their "comfort zones" and play new games that others are playing as well. I've been playing in Armored Warfare, we have a clan in it, we have a clan in another game like Star Conflict and I'm working on getting a fleet in games like Star Trek Online. They are all free to play and easy to pick up. If people want to, I'm willing to help out and recruit as well, I'm talking with people in Twitch streams and finding interested people.
